As people return home after a major storm, they may find that their important documents (such as their passport, social security card, or birth certificate) have been lost or damaged. We understand this is a stressful time and are here to help you replace your lost or damaged U.S. passport book or passport card.

Please note:

  • If you’re a U.S. citizen who evacuated on U.S. government coordinated flights, learn about loan repayment and how to apply for a new passport.
  • If you applied for your passport and haven’t received it yet, please call 1-877-487-2778 or 1-888-874-7793 (TDD/TTY).
  • If you are a U.S. citizen overseas and need to replace your lost or damaged passport contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
